Raw Spirulina Balls

Ingredients
- 4 dried figs
- 3 pitted dates
- 1 large orange (zest, juice and flesh)
- 10g spirulina powder
- 80g cashew nuts
- 20g pumpkin seeds
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
- 30ml water (1/5 cup)
- 85g desiccated coconut (1 cup)
- 25g chia seeds
Instructions
- Blitz the figs in a blender with the water and orange juice to make a thick paste.
- Pulse all the nuts, seeds, orange zest and half the desiccated coconut in a food processor until you have a rough texture and then add the spirulina and melted coconut oil and pulse until well mixed.
- In a bowl mix together the fig paste, the nut mixture and the rest of the desiccated coconut.
- Take small amounts of mixture and roll into balls, I rolled mine in coconut after. Let them set in the fridge for 30 minutes. You can store them in the fridge for a week.
